Vietnam Mondays
Why is it that Monday mornings so arbitrarily dictate the tone of the rest of the week? I’m beginning to think a three hour seminar every Monday at 9AM on the Vietnam War isn’t the happiest way to start my mornings. Is this just another facet of Western culture–this aversion to unpleasant and uncomfortable things? Because some endings aren’t happily ever after.
However, I do have this strong aversion to mandatory jury duty. Can’t wait! I love democracy and the right to a fair hearing.
